A hair and make-up trial is important for you and your consultant, it is important for you to see the look you have chosen to make sure you are happy with it, and for your consultant, so she knows how long the style will take to complete.
It is a very good idea to have pictures of hair/make-up styles you like, as they are a great form of communication for your consultant.
A bridal hair trial gives you the chance to see how your chosen style lasts on your hair so you can have peace of mind that it is going to stay in all day, or give you the opportunity to make small changes so that it suits your hair.
Your consultant may ask you what colour your flowers and bridesmaid’s dresses are so she can get an idea for make-up colours. She may also ask you what you normally wear and how heavy so she can understand your personal style.
Feel free to ask for each of your eyes to be made up with a different colour so you can compare them and see what different colours can do for your features. You should feel comfortable with your bridal hair and make-up, don’t go with something very different to what you normally wear if it is going to make you feel nervous and uneasy. It is also handy to have your veil and tiara/head pieces at your trial so you can see what they will look like, and how they will fit in with your chosen styles.
